An Outdoor Activity to Rakh Bagh |

To learn more about the biodiversity in nature. The students of CBSE(i) visited ‘Rakh Bagh’. The aim of this activity was very specific that the students should know about different types of plants, their parts and their use. By this visit now the students are more aware about different types of plants ; similarities and dissimilarities between them. After the visit they could classify plants on the basis of their shapes, size and Physical Characters.
By the end by this educational visit to Rakh Bagh students were able to classify the plants, their uses, importance of their life, benefit to environment, diversity and how they are our friends in a more practical way for forever.

An Outdoor Activity to Khanna Departmental Store |

The objective of this activity was to encourage children in experiential learning or learning through an outdoor activity. Through this activity students received exposure to shopping in the departmental store. And provided them with an ability to distinguish between vegetarian and non- vegetarian items as well as knowing its MRP and expiry date. Not only this, through this activity children, filled with fun and entertainment. Could reinforce the knowledge and skills learned at school and apply them in “real life”.
In All, It Gave Kids THE HEADS UP LIFE.

VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME BY GREENLAND STUDENTS (CBSE(i)) |

The students of Greenland Convent School, Dugri visited Swami Vivekanand Vridh Ashram, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana today. Following a Sewa Project under CBSE-i, the students were taken there to get the feeling of family and foster grandparents. The students were really enthusiastic and they organized a tea party and a small cultural programme for senior citizens. They interacted and learnt about their daily routine. The inmates of the old age home were touched by the gestures, and they blessed the children. The children learnt the values of life and importance of respecting and loving their grandparents. The students were also given return gifts as memoires by the Senior Citizens.
